It may be a simple cocktail, but we think you'll find that root beer tends to be an excellent mixer with rum. Caramel, spice, vanilla, and the signature root beer flavor all come together perfectly.

While you can use whatever root beer you'd like, Root 42 Old Time Root Beer is our root beer of choice. For each batch, we caramelize our cane sugar and never compromise on incorporating genuine vanilla. No matter what, always avoid generic root beers that contain high-fructose corn syrup or other toxic artificial sweeteners!
